Symphony in the Park is a free concert for the community held annually (August) at Mill Lake Park in Abbotsford. It typically brings together 3000+ attendees. See highlight video and pictures below. ABBOTSFORD YOUTH ORCHESTRA
The Abbotsford Youth Orchestra operates under the auspices of the Abbotsford Community Music School (ACMS), a non-profit society in the Province of British Columbia, recognized by Revenue Canada as a charitable organization. Income Tax Receipts for gifts and charitable donations can be issued for any amount over $20. If you wish to make a donation to the AYO, please contact Calvin and he will put you in touch with ACMS.
Contributing to the AYO Bursary Fund, is one way to support the youth orchestra. This fund helps cover tuition costs for students who might not otherwise be able to participate. Other donations support music purchases and tour-related expenses.
