Symphony in the Park returns to Mill Lake Park (Bevan Ave entrance) on Friday, August 14 at 6:30 PM for an unforgettable evening of live music and family entertainment. This community event (2 hours in length) will feature a professional symphony orchestra, plus a few members and alumni from the Abbotsford Youth Orchestra.
The evening’s program will include a lively mix of classical favourites and popular hits, including Mozart’s Marriage of Figaro Overture, a movement from Haydn’s Trumpet Concerto, Viva La Vida, the Superman March, Conga del Fuego, and highlights from the soundtracks of Mission: Impossible and The Sound of Music.
Conductor and producer Calvin Dyck will perform the crowd-pleasing “Hot Canary.” Adding to the excitement, dancers from the Fraser Valley Academy of Dance will take the stage, and audience members will be invited to join in the fun by creating the cannon blasts during the 1812 Overture by popping paper bags.
Food trucks on site. Admission by donation. Bring a lawn chair or a blanket. See you there!

Donations of $30 or more are receiptable using these methods:
